The HSE stands for "High School Equivalency" Diploma.
Interested people should stop at the front desk to register and schedule an appointment for the Orientation test. Once tested, your scores are given to the adult education teacher. They will devise a learning plan to prepare you for the HSE test. All classes are free! We meet Tuesday and Thursday 9:30-11:30am and 4:30 - 6:30pm., Wednesday 4:00 - 7:00pm. You can take home homework or even schedule to work online.
If you already have a Diploma or GED you can still register at the front desk for an appointment to schedule your orientation test and then speak with the Adult Ed teacher to design a learning plan that will focus on a specific subject you would like to improve in.
If you left high school before earning a diploma, the HSE examination may be an option you want to pursure. The HSE credential provides proof to employers and colleges that you have academic skill equivalent to those of a high school graduate.
