John Jay Center for Learning partners with Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana for higher education opportunities. Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana offers a wide variety of Associate’s level degrees as well as Technical Certificate programs in the fields of Healthcare, Business, Industrial-Technical Training, Human Services and General Studies.
Indiana Wesleyan Degree Program
John Jay Center for Learning also partners with Indiana Wesleyan University to offer business degree programs in Jay County with all classes held in Portland. IWU is a leader in the adult learning field through their Adult and Professional Studies program. Due to their educational innovations many other institutions have replicated their pioneering ideas.
Vincennes University Classes
John Jay Center for Learning partners with Vincennes University to offer certification classes in an array of medical fields.
Purdue University College of Technology in Richmond and Anderson offer degree classes at JJCL. An Associate of Science in Orginizational Leadership and Supervision degree will be offered starting in May of 2014. All classes are held in Portland.
Earn Your HSE
The HSE is a diploma that you can earn by passing the HSE (High School Eguivalency) test. To pass the test you need to perform at the same level as a high school graduate in: reading, writing, math, science and social studies. The HSE is a high school equivalency diploma.
Earn Your High School Diploma
The Jay County High School Annex at John Jay Center for Learning is providing an opportunity for students who have dropped out of school to re-enroll/enroll in Jay County High School and work towards receiving a diploma from Jay County High School.
Jay County High School is registered test center for the SAT test.
ACCUPLACER- Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University use the Accuplacer test to determine the level of college classes a student should take their first year. John Jay Center for Learning is a testing site for Accuplacer.
